A brilliant column about Corbett's (R-Frackers) lack of successes this year. His singular success this year is that Pennsylvanians can now import wild boars, put them into fenced-in areas, pretend to hunt them, and then kill them.

They are also known as feral hogs/pigs. Experts had warned against introducing alien species into PA, where some are likely to get loose. The column quotes FoxNews.com:

"'War is being waged right now across the country - against huge, ever-growing packs of feral pigs that are running rampant, destroying crops, killing wildlife and spreading disease everywhere they go, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reports. They've been spotted all the way from Texas to California to Michigan and in New York.

" 'That amount doesn't include impact to the natural environment and native species, or to water,' USDA spokesperson Bannerman said. One disease humans can get, she said, by coming in contact with the beasts' bodily fluids is called 'swine brucellosis,' and is extremely painful."

The column then continues:

"... Sure, legislators collected about $2,000 each in automatic pay raises - not counting pension and health care gifts - before going on vacation without addressing thousands of bridges on the verge of collapse, the state liquor monopoly question or the pension crisis that threatens to bankrupt every municipality and school district in the state. If you were guaranteed a raise no matter how terribly you did your job, would you turn it down?"

So after Corbett gets defeated, he will leave behind a wasteland of contaminated water and crappy schools. In this wasteland, after having eaten all of the crops, escaped wild boars will be drinking from the fracking wasteponds. Some fracking wastewater has been shown to be radioactive (no I'm not making that up).

So then we will have giant snarling large-toothed mutated wild boars roaming the countryside, spreading "incredibly painful diseases" to Pennsylvanians. The only safe place will be inside the huge new $400 million prison compounds that Corbett is building.
