16. The Lehigh Valley has changed for the worse

I've lived in the Lehigh Valley for over 37 years, and it has changed for the worse. Developers have bullied zoning boards into allowing them to cover the once nice Lehigh Valley with warehouses and housing developments. What were once farms are now covered with macadam. Traffic is horrendous. PennDOT is the worst run organization on the planet. Property taxes are astronomical. I'm presently living outside of Nazareth, with remaining woods behind my house (for now).

The Lehigh Valley was gerrymandered too, with Dem leaning Easton cut out of the 15th district for the first time ever. The Allentown Morning Call and WFMZ-TV are very Republican leaning.

If I live long enough to retire in a few years, I'm thinking about living in an RV or cabin cruiser and moving with the seasons, but I'm definitely out of PA.
