Part of the problem is they allowed New Jersey political boss Norcross to have too much power. He put his young inexperienced daughter in charge of the website, which resulted in some questionable decision-making. Then, Norcross ordered the paper's respected chief editor fired, without pre-approval from the other partners, who are now suing Norcross.
