2. That sign refers to the time Corbett cancelled his only appearance in a Phila public school

Corbett spends most of his time being interviewed by conservative radio hosts, attending political fundraisers, or appearing at Chamber of Commerce dinners with high price tags. He rarely mixes with the common folk, and he particularly doesn't cross paths with African-American or Latino groups. He doesn't spend much time inside Phila. He occasionally spoke at a factory, with the workers kept under close supervision by the owners of the company during the event. He also occasionally visited a charter school.

I had never heard of him visiting a public school in Phila. Then, last year, he was scheduled to give out some awards at one of the most selective public schools in Phila. He cancelled when he heard that there would be protests. Instead, he made the students come to the Bellevue Stratford hotel to receive their awards, where his State Police and hotel security could keep the riff-raff away.
