It really makes you wonder about rural Texans. The big cities in Texas often go Democratic, even if the GOP seats are gerrymandered. I find it a little hard to swallow that the rural folks can out-gun city-dwellers, but that seems to be consistently happening. Unless the voting machines are somewhat rigged, which would not surprise me. How is it that the big cities usually elect Democratic mayors, and yet these GOP'ers retain their seats?
