We Democrats might be facing a Tea-publican extremist in the general election this fall. Tea Party/"Freedomworks" pet pol Ted Cruz is ahead of Texas Republican establishment favorite David Dewhurst 47 percent to 38 percent in a Wezel Strategies poll financed by a Cruz-backed organization.

I don't know how this will favor someone like Paul Sadler, but there's GOT to be a point where enough Texas voters or potential voters realize that whatever candidates the Texas R's put forward, NONE of them favor the interests of most Texans.
