The women being attacked and degraded with this rhetoric are our mothers, sisters, nieces, cousins, girlfriends, classmates and work colleagues. The chauvinistic crap that spews from people like Akin is one of the primary reasons why I can never see myself voting for any Republican candidate.
As part of the demographic group that the Repugs want to claim, my concern is what group will they attack next. Will I be ostracized because I'm not a property owner or because I'm a vain metro-sexual? Yes, that is how silly the GOP has become with their repugnant thinking.
