and his spokesman just hand waved and said that they should not be responsible for the content of all they post. A poor attitude for a regular citizen (I have fought with my FB friends about this to the point of blocking them) and indefensible for an elected official.

Miller’s Facebook post with the altered image has generated thousands of shares, likes and comments since it was posted Wednesday morning.

Todd Smith, Miller’s campaign spokesman, told the American-Statesman that neither he nor the commissioner knew if the doctored photo was real before posting it to the Facebook page.

“We post hundreds of things a week. We put stuff out there. We’re like Fox News. We report, we let people decide,” Smith said.
