According to my State District Executive Committee member, the city of San Antonio has told the party that the state convention will not be allowed. We are having a virtual convention

Due to COVID-19, San Antonio city officials have rightfully cancelled the State Democratic Convention in San Antonio during June 4-6, 2020. I am now in an Emergency meeting of the State Democratic Executive Committee (via Zoom) to declare we are in a state of emergency, to authorize the state chair to initiate steps to hold the state convention by video conference, and to adopt overarching procedures by which the state convention will be held. Initial plans are for the 10,000 delegates to this virtual convention to join via Zoom, which will be moderated by professionals.
