6. If it's north of Austin it's not near San Marcos

Sorry, I know most of the small towns on 35 between San Antonio and Austin, but have not driven north of Austin for 25 years.

Based on where it is on the map it looks like it's in a real conservative area. Population 1300. Why would anyone want to move there?

Here in San Antonio, we have our suburban Hicks like New Braunfels, Garden Ridge, Boerne, Helotes, but those places are nice...(Expensive and Republican, but nice if you have money) They have nice scenery, water attractions too.
