South Padre Island viral video shows maskless gathering on beach [View all]
Spring Break is here and Texans are already flocking to the coast.
On Monday, Clayton's Beach Bar and Grill posted a now-viral video showing a young crowd of maskless people gathering at South Padre Island. Bar owner Clayton Brashear told KVEO-TV that he was excited to welcome back Spring Breakers. He is encouraging others to wear masks at his bar, but not enforcing.
The video received comments condemning the folks in the clip for not wearing masks. As of Thursday morning, there are nearly 465 shares and more than 340 comments.
"No masks? Watch the numbers go up and we'll be in the same spot from months ago," Keith Robida said.
"Where are their masks? Guess they don't love their friends and family," Rebecca Martinez commented.
