They almost always have covid appt's available throught texas. Yes, texas is a big place, so probably the more rural areas are the ones with appt's available.

Still I found it interesting that every new england state (where cvs began and is everywhere) is almost uniformly booked out, but texas almost always has appt's.

I used that to my advantage to get ahead in the process by first choosing texas, then clicking to create an appt (which only appears if there are locations with appts available), and then switching to mass later in the process. That way I could just rapid fire refresh and see appts before they are reflected on the main page.

Not line jumping since I'm eligible, but it saved a lot of frustration. And the MA state vax system never even said boo. I got my first pfizer shot yesterday and have another scheduled in 3 weeks.

Anyway, try cvs in addition to city websites. Private pharmacies seem to have their own supply.
