thought of visiting museums of which there are several; may return to do that.
As with all cities, I'd assume one can find kindred spirits of all kinds. I'm sure Virginians will be able to answer in a more informed way.
Keep in mind: Virginia Governors are limited to one term, can't be immediately re-elected; they have a repug now, so as time moves on, things change.
Good climate, and variety of political and geographic experiences nearby; I'm in MD DC suburb, Maryland is FINE, and there are BEACHES!
