People tended to vote early versus later. This prompted the ordering of extra ballots that ultimately were not needed.

Overall in-person voting was comparable to a presidential year. But absentee voting was up by about 50%.

Overall turnout (absentee and Tuesday) by "active" voters was about 75%.

((Since this is a military moving district, plus a number of aged retirees dying or moving away, this understates the percentage of "actual" active voters voting.))
