I do have a concealed weapons permit and I carry.

I usually carry a S&W 5 shot snub nosed revolver. No safety on the weapon and I carry it fully loaded. An internal safety on the weapon prevents it from firing if dropped.

But in today’s world I am a dinosaur. Most people carry semi-automatic pistols not “outdated” revolvers. They often disagree on if the pistol should be carried with a round in the chamber or not. Almost all agree the safety (if the pistol has one) should be engaged.
