2. Meeting on possible sale of public hospital to Catholic hospital in Skagit Valley 1/25

Hello Locals,

Were you aware that there are talks to have Catholic Church owned Peace Health buyout Skagit Valley Hospital, which would mean that the two local hospitals, as UGH has already been bought, would be owned and under the rule of the Catholic church. Come learn about this and what this would mean for your and those you care about as it pertains to health care at these facilities if this were to happen. Friday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Skagit County PUD Aqua Room 1415 Freeway Drive, Mount Vernon

Peace Hospital has also refused to run lab tests for planned parenthood.
