42. Food Justice Project Meeting in Seattle 4/17

WED April 17th, 6:30-8:30pm
Location: CAGJ Office, 606 Maynard Ave S #102, Seattle, WA.

Come learn about our Educate for Action project, upcoming workshops and our trainer-the-trainer workshops! Get involved in our Hike-a-Thon! We’ll be planning and scheming for this great event at the meeting and we need interested folks to help us in the important planning stages! We’ll also be discussing our Solidarity Campaigns and what local initiatives we can ally with! Help us decide and maybe get inspired to help! The Food Justice Project works in solidarity with campaigns in the following five areas: 1) Food Justice Everywhere: Work with the Washington Fair Trade Coalition to stop the new NAFTA, the Trans-Pacific Partnership; 2) Food Chain Workers: Support food chain workers’ rights with the Making Change at Walmart Campaign. Campaigns to be chosen in 2013: 3) Right to Good Food; 4) Local Family Farms; and 5) Farmworkers.
