In the first event of a new and ongoing Civics thread focused on rebuilding economic security and prosperity for working people, David Madland, director of the American Worker Project at the Center for American Progress; Annette Bernhardt, co-director of the National Employment Law Project; and Dorian Warren, assistant professor in the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, discuss the current crisis of income inequality, the low-wage recovery, and economic and financial prospects for working people. Jake Rosenfeld, Assistant Professor in the University of Washington Department of Sociology, moderates. Presented as part of the Town Hall Civics series with Working Washington.
