(51,907 posts)We are seeing the increasingly urgent impacts of climate change right now. From record floods in Colorado to more and more wildfires in central Washington, theyre here and theyre real. We know its time to take action on climate change.
Here in Washington, we have a chance to let our decisonmakers know that we are ready to lead on climate action and to grow our clean energy economy.
Governor Inslee, with your help, has convened legislative leaders to determine how our state will meet our climate pollution reduction limits. And he wants to hear from you.
The Climate Workgroup is having three hearings across the state: October 16th in Spokane, October 23rd in Seattle, and December 6th in Olympia.
