Description:

The shutdown might be over. But the budget battle on Capitol Hill continues. Between now and January 15th, Congress will be debating what next year's federal budget will look like. What’s that mean for us? A lot of work in these next few weeks to make sure cost-effective, poverty-fighting programs don’t get cut. So join us in Seattle on Saturday 16th November, 11-1pm, and do some critical work to protect these programs, eat some good food, meet some amazing volunteers, and have a lot of fun (sounds crazy, but it really is fun…and did we mention there will be prizes and food?).
