From an activist working on justice for John T Williams--

I am inviting others to join me in writing in Rick Williams for King County Prosecutor.

Dan Satterberg is running unopposed for King County Prosecutor. This is Satterberg’s first re-election bid since he refused to prosecute SPD Officer Ian Birk for shooting John T. Williams. The SPD’s Firearms Review Board found the shooting unjustified, and well-qualified attorneys urged prosecution. Satterberg would not budge.

Rick Williams tells me that others have the same idea and will also be writing in his name. He underscores that he still lives every day in pain because of what happened to his brother.

A significant number of write-in votes for Rick Williams would be a slap on Satterberg’s hands. With luck, it will also get some media coverage.
