February is shaping up to be an active month with lots of events, including a speaking tour with David Cobb, from Move to Amend National and some fun events with Hip Hop Congress. We hope you can come out to join us for one or more of these exciting and informative activities, and bring a friend too!
David Cobb MTA Barnstorming Tour
Come see Move to Amend spokesperson David Cobb and learn how you can get involved in the campaign to end corporate personhood and demand real democracy! David Cobb, a fiery speaker and former Green Party presidential candidate, is touring Washington state this month to give his talk on, The Politics for a New America." Part history lesson and part heart-felt call-to-action, David will tell the story of how corporations gained constitutional rights, how big money has taken over our elections, and how we can win our democracy back.
Representatives from WAmend will provide updates on the latest efforts to put an initiative on the 2016 statewide ballot. Admission is free and open to the general public. These talks are made possible by the generous donations of event attendees.
