Coffee Strong invites you to C​elebrate People’s History: Iraq Veterans Against the War - Ten Years of Fighting for Peace and Justice.​This portfolio project celebrates Iraq Veterans Against the War’s (IVAW) ten year history. It features contributions from IVAW members, Justseeds Artists' Cooperative members, along with allied veterans, artists and writers. It highlights key ideas, moments, projects, tactics, and individuals from IVAW history in order to uplift IVAW's ongoing struggle, inspire others to take action, and preserve the movement’s history for future generations.

Join us April 12th from 3-5pm at Coffee Strong to view the portfolio and celebrate

I​raq Veterans Against the War -

Ten Years of Fighting for Peace and Justice.

This interactive gallery opening and teach-in will include IVAW member and Justseeds artist, Aaron Hughes as well as many local IVAW members and allies. Together we will share stories, learn and reflect on our collective history of resistance and ongoing organizing to end war.

Celebrate People’s History: Iraq Veterans Against the War - Ten Years of Fighting for Peace and Justice​will remain on display at Coffee Strong during normal business hours (M-F, 11-2). Select prints from this new portfolio will be available for sale at Coffee Strong
