Help shape the Metro Transit system of our future
King County Metro and Sound Transit are teaming up for a series of joint open houses beginning June 16. The events will give King County residents a convenient one-stop opportunity to help shape two important planning efforts.
As Sound Transit shapes a ballot measure for Sound Transit 3, Metro is looking 25 years down the road to make sure the right mix of services and connections are in place to get people where they need to go. These open houses will be an opportunity to learn about and weigh in on both planning initiatives.
Metro wants to know what type of service you think would work best in your community based on projected population and job growth.
Your input will help transit planners understand what type of service you value in your community, and will help shape the proposed network of bus routes and facilities that Metro will present in the fall of 2015 for additional public input. The final plan will be shared for another round of public input in early 2016, then transmitted to the King County Council in mid-2016.
