Come learn about how drones are proving to be a popular and invaluable data collection tool for scientists.
From monitoring marine animals and their habitats to understanding changes in climate and atmospheric conditions, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are helping researchers collect an unprecedented amount of data. We’ll talk about how advances in UAV design are taking cues from nature’s most agile species. Additionally, we will discuss the regulations surrounding the use of drones by the public and researchers.
