Have you been hearing about all the signs that the climate is changing, and want to help bring it back into balance--but arent sure what to do? Or youve taken a few steps and arent sure what to do next? This workshop is designed to help you find ways to join in, and help build the momentum to stop the climate change crisis.
Momentum has been building right here in Seattle. And globally, we can carry this momentum to the gathering of governments at the Paris climate change talks (in December 2015) and beyond. 350.org and allies are organising events across the world in November and December to power not just "to" but "through" Paris.
Come to the 350 Seattle's "Power through Paris" workshop to learn more about how we are building momentum locally, with exciting and bold actions planned this Fall, and continuing after the Paris climate talks, regardless of their outcome.
(This is a repeat of the workshop offered on October 3, to accommodate some of those who couldn't attend then.)
Time: We'll start at 10am sharp and end by noon
Transportation:
Many bus routes serve Seattle U, including routes 2, 3, 4, 12, 43, and 49.
If youre driving there are visitor lots on campus. The closest to the workshop is at 12th and Marion. Parking is $6. There are also cheaper paid parking lots off-campus on Broadway and 12th. On-street parking is 2-hours MAX, so youll need to find a lot.
