Denis Hayes, the President and CEO of the Bullitt Foundation and Founder of Earth Day, i s host ing the meeting and will be one of our featured speakers .
The public and Councilmembers wi ll also hear from panelists represent ing interests that have not only recognized the challenges of climate change , but are working on a local, national and international level to find solutions to the climate crisis.
Seating is limited. Please RSVP to counciltownhall@kingcounty.gov and you will be given a free ticket to attend this event. In the spirit of being carbon- neutral, this special Town H all will also be broadcast LIVE ( www.kingco u nty.gov/townhall ). Listen from the comfort of your home or visit the greenest building in the world. Either way, prepare to see the challenges of climate change in a new light , and what we must do about it .
