What: Making Retirement Security Real for Everyone Workshop
When: Friday, October 30, 10 a.m. - noon
Where: Seattle office Washington State Labor Council,
321 16th Ave. S. (Jackson & 16th Ave. S.) Street parking in
area.

PSARA's Education Committee, led by Mark McDermott, has developed an inspiring and interactive workshop that provides historical background on how Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid were won by our ancestors over great resistance and how we can carry this fight forward.

The workshop will educate and inspire us to build a movement toward a more secure retirement for all people and generations. We demand that retirement security programs be expanded and that our elected representatives support this effort.

We want to build a statewide movement fighting for expanded retirement security. We need help from our members all around Washington (and even nationally!) to bring this workshop to other organizations and venues.

Please attend this workshop and then help us to spread the word as we work to build this movement.
