3. why would you get an voicemail from the republican party, and what makes you think it is legitimate?

I don't know about your state, but in California, you can go online, and see if your ballot has been received anytime. I voted about 3 weeks ago, checked online a week and a half ago, and no issues.

However, if I received my ballot, and didn't vote, California would NOT contact me and tell me they had not received my ballot, Maybe your state does that, but that means that anyone who is registered to vote, who doesn't want to vote in a particular election, your state would contact them and tell them they didn't receive their ballot. Sounds pretty weird to me
