Last chance to share your thoughts on how Ballard Bridge should be updated with SDOT survey [View all]

Updates will come to the 102-year-old Ballard Bridge, but first, the Seattle Department of Transportation wants to hear how you think those changes should look.

An online survey by SDOT will close on Sunday, July 7, so if you have thoughts to share, your time is running out. Take the survey by visiting this link.

The Ballard Bridge, built in 1917, crosses the Ship Canal between Ballard and Interbay. An estimated 57,000 vehicles use the 2,854-foot span each day, in addition to cyclists and pedestrians.

The structure is considered in good condition, and it undergoes regular maintenance. However, a rehabilitation project is in the bridge's future to help it maintain its current level of use.
