but from my reckoning, the "Sportsmen for Walker" types prefer the larger fingerlings due to survival rates. They are much more expensive to raise however. A lot of lake associations across the state raise money for fingerling releases in their waters on their own and with the help of the DNR. These folks, many of whom own waterfront homes or second homes, most likely would like some return on their property taxes. They (the fisherfolks and DNR) are ( or were) trending for releasing the larger fry.
As for the manure runoff, ask the folks in Kewaunee county about that. There is already not enough money budgeted.
I am understanding more and more what is going on, Wanker is using the state of Wisconsin, its people, and its natural resources in order to become president. This "big, bold leadership" bullcrap is just a power hungry ploy.
I don't thinks its fair to rag on the fine folks of Wisconsin for electing this guy ( am seeing this type of comment more and more in press and web story comment sections) but I reckon some of the people who voted for him 3 times are kicking themselves sideways, now.
