10. I thought witnesses who saw him weaving called the police

They were the ones who were attacked for having supported his recall. How did they know who the driver was when they called? Did the prosecution bring up that argument to counter claims of their bias? One of the comments to the article said the special prosecutor is a patent lawyer, and it seems he did make mistakes. That would be a fine way to stack the deck in favor of Hopper.
