12. So glad to hear your good news. We've gone to Door County

every summer for almost 40 years! My husband much longer. We had close friends who actually lived in Ephriam, and a friend who worked at the White Gull in Fish Creek for years, and then at Wilson's in Ephriam for almost 15 years. Our daughter scooped ice cream with her fiance at Wilson's when in college, and stayed at his family cottage on Kangaroo Lake.

I can't imagine summer without Door County, although we no longer have places to crash for free! We have to stay at a hotel these days like common tourists, or just drive home in the evening (an easy 2 hour drive), LOL!

Oddly, in all that time we've never gone to the symphony at the high school, but we have gone to hear Irish groups and to a fabulous concert featuring Allison Krause!
