5. So far, still good for my well, in central Jefferson Co,

It's the near surface water that's disappearing around my place. Here there are miles of old drainage ditches that make the muck soils between the drumlins tillable. The ditch that bounds the sw corner of my wetland is dry. It usually has at least a trickle of water through July.
