I agree with you on Murdoch, but how much harm could he have done if our governments weren't so eager to accommodate him? Just look at Trump, Johnson, Morrison - all the creatures of Murdoch.

In Australia's case, both sides of politics were happy to relax media ownership laws to benefit Murdoch, but only one side prospered. Dumb Labor politicians always think they can buy the loyalty of people like Murdoch, but they can't.
