Although the Coalition is polling well ahead of Labor on two-party preferred, it's clear that Abbott is even more disliked than Gillard. Put Turnbull in, and they'll romp home.

If things stay as they are, I wouldn't be surprised if we get another hung parliament if it's Abbott leading the Libs. I'd love to see him trying to negotiate with the Greens!
