An internal Tory party investigation is to laugh, and the RCMP is pretty compromised as far as trustworthiness goes, but I think some junior level person will end up being a fall guy for this. That's been the pattern - blame an "over-enthusiastic staffer", give him/her a slap on the wrist, then say "all taken care of".
