In fact the Mr works for a food bank and I know how much the need has increased by over the years. No, what shocked me about this is that these charities are soliciting for Canada as if it is a third world country. Under Harper it appears we are not only reaching third world status with poverty, but we are turning into a banana republic as well. And FYI it has gotten far worse under the chairman.
