the ironic points he is making. He is using allegory to make his points. He acts like a clown, a jester, a fool, but as Shakespeare shows, even a fool can make serious points and be smarter than those around him.

I'm not a fan of Johnson, but he is a lot better than the worst reading of those quotes, and certainly nothing like Trump. Look how he has stood up to Trump and Trump's Islamophobic attacks on London, for example.
