It's a cause that's deeply misogynistic, especially towards female clergy.

It may not surprise you to learn that John Knox (instigator of the Scottish Reformation and author of the "First Blast of the Trumpet against the monstrous regiment of Women") is a major influence on Christian Nationalism.

And yes, Twitter has become an absolute cesspit. But recent scandals about CSAM are causing more people to leave in disgust at present.
