Steve King (R-IA) has a GOP opponent. [View all]

Dr. Cyndi Hanson has announced she will run against King in the GOP primary.

So far, she looks much more sane than King.

As far as I know, she hasn't defended dog fighting, doesn't have a Confederate flag on her desk, hasn't talked about cantaloupe calves on immigrants, of any of the disgusting crap King has done.

After living in this district for over 20 years, I don't think any democrat could unseat King. Too many Evangelicals will support a republican over a democrat. (sounds like Alabama).

This will be interesting to see what happens as we draw closer to 2018.
