The Reagan he compares himself to isn't the REAL Reagan, it's the modern, 2000ish neo-con fantasy Reagan. You know, the one people like Sarah Palin has been likened to also--the hateful, nit-witted war-mongerer who hates the poor, believed the founding father's real purpose was for America to be a plutocratic theocracy, have military bases in every nation in the world and tell every nation how to run their country, not burden big business with even one rule while regulating individual citizens in the most intimate of ways. That is the Reagan Santorum likens himself to.

The real one would immediately be branded a socialist and wouldn't even survive the primary.
