I guess my overall point is, AFAIK, there is no ONE app that takes care of every species of malware. For example, I know of no apps that take care of everything including rootkits. If there is such an animal, someone please advise me. I had always assumed (and you know what they say about assumptions) that Malwarebytes took care of viruses. I was so wrong. That surprised me, but then again, I didn't bother to carefully read their documentation. Live and learn.
