The one I downloaded must be a bit different as I can still run it but it said it was good for only 3 days when I downloaded it but ... it still works and yes, you can still go in and get the updates even though it has a red ! mark next to it and says it is expired.

Have this on my other old computer now.

I actually found some 13 year old viruses on and old ThinkPad I have! The site that viruses are from no longer exists but as for the viruses themselves, who knows!

Anyone got that old one cleaned up and it found a couple on my old desktop as well.

In case you hadn't guessed, all of my equipment is old sans a Fujitsu Lifebook with Windows 7 Pro. on it that I bought refurbished. Its ok I guess ... not real thrilled with it however.

Thanks again for your help. Just don't fall for the "expired" trick. I bet the catch a lot of people that way!
