7. Get the new PC up, functional and checked out FIRST............

Make sure that the new stuff works. Give some time to let the new hardware 'break in'. The first 30 days for new PC parts is one of the high possablity of falilyor areas.
This will also give you time to become fimilar with 7.
If you know the manifacture of the tuner card, go out to their web page. It may be one stop shopping where you get the drivers, manua FAQs et all.
If the free book is out their it will tell yo whether to install the driver or the card first.
If you need a TV fix while settleing in the new hardware and you're self theirs allways HULU.com

Almost forgot. Make sure the drivers are for WIN 7. If you can't find drivers then put the card in and Windows may take care of things starting with.
