32 bit browser versus 64 bit browser ? [View all]

Hi all,

A trivial question here: Why would someone need a 64 bit browser ? Yes, I use a 64 bit operating system but the 32 bit browser works just fine and does not consume a lot of memory.

The reason I ask is, I do beta testing for Opera. They always ask 32 bit vs. 64 bit. I guess I could use the 64 bit and see what happens. Thanks for your time.

eta: Now trying out 64 bit Opera. No flames yet
