6. Power supply, battery problem.

Both can be replaced at relatively low cost. My guess is that the power supply or possibly the connection from the power supply to the system board is broken, breaking, and that the battery is frequently fully discharged, causing a low power shut down even with the system plugged in, as the power supply is not functional. Replace the power supply. Forget best buy unless you already paid for their crappy service plan. If it is the connection from the power supply to the system board, you need a new mother board and you either need the manufacturer warranty to replace it or you need a new laptop.
