1. First off, you need to get your own place to host your graphics.

Stop using other people's bandwidth. When you do that, they still control their graphics and pictures and can and do remove items no longer useful to them. Some sites keep track of traffic and purposely remove those that have too many hits. (or just change the URL for them.)

Me? I have two sites where I can park graphics and pictures I post here. The best way is to pay a site to host your pictures and graphics. I use Smugmug and StartLogic. Free places, like Photobucket, are not all that reliable, but seem to work for some people, at least most of the time.
