If you have a library (I have a big library courtesy of a thrift store bonanza folio) live with the fact that they are all junk (and cheap) and get a usb player ( they all have audio jacks) until it quits. Then get another.

Or get a fancy DVD player with long warranty.

Classical music is free on the internet, no ads. But CD's are good. Some stuff is just cheap throwaway. I do not mention audiophile stuff. Not on my radar.

Take card of them. They do NOT last forever.
