4. Beware of 3rd party sellers on Amazon (for just about anything). I got an external Dell DVD player

the blurb said the software to install it is downloadable online. I shoulda checked that before ordering, because it wasn't.

I complained to Amazon, who agreed, but I don't know if they sanctioned the 3rd party seller.
